Conformity Assessment

The central executive body charged with forming Ukraine’s public policy in the area of technical regulation compiles a list of national standards, compliance with which provides a presumption of the proper fulfillment by conformity assessment bodies of special requirements set for such bodies.

Organizations intending to provide certification services for products, services and management systems are required to undergo an accreditation procedure. For this purpose, the management system of an organization shall meet the requirements of standards defining activities of such bodies.

Effective implementation of such management systems requires training of personnel of conformity assessment bodies, regular verification and qualification upgrade.

Accreditation of conformity assessment bodies is a certification by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (NAAU) that the conformity assessment body meets the requirements of national standards harmonized with the relevant international and European standards, or the requirements of international or European standards and, where necessary, any additional accreditation requirements in specific areas to conduct certain conformity assessment activities.

Atestor offers training for personnel of conformity assessment bodies, which ensures the maintenance of the qualification level of employees and the overall functioning of management systems of organizations in all cases in compliance with standards and regulations. Regular personnel training and qualification control additionally allow for timely implementation of any new developments of regulations, avoiding future increases in costs associated with non-compliance with established requirements and simplifying accreditation confirmation procedures for the next period.
